Scotts Valley Sportsman's Club is a non profit organization. Scotts Valley Sportsmen’s Club is a non-profit organization formed to encourage organized rifle, shotgun and pistol shooting among the citizens of the United States resident in our community, to promote better nowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, to promote improved marksmanship, and to foster sportsmanship.  Applicants for membership: The applicant can NOT be a convicted felon. The applicant must be a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and subscribe in writing to the NRA pledge. (Click here Apply to NRA) Application for membership shall be made in writing, signed by the applicant, on a form prescribed by the executive committee. The applicant must be endorsed and recommended in writing signed by a member of the club in good standing who vouches for the character, reputation, and sportsmanship of the applicant. The applicant must submit the initiation fee, proof of current NRA membership, and dues with the application for membership. The application should be handed or mailed to the club Secretary. No applicant elected to membership in this club shall be deemed to be a member until he has taken the NRA pledge at a regular club meeting of the members of this club.  The NRA Pledge I certify that I am a citizen of good repute of the United States of America, that I am not a member of any organization or group having as it's purpose or one of it's purposes to overthrow by force and violence the government of the United States or any of it's political subdivisions, that I have never been convicted of a crime of violence, and that, if admitted to membership,I will fulfill the obligations of good sportsmanship and good citizenship.  Click here to download an application in pdf format.
