Scotts Valley Sportsman's Club is a non profit organization. Scotts Valley Sportsmen’s Club is a non-profit organization formed to encourage organized rifle, shotgun and pistol shooting among the citizens of the United States resident in our community, to promote better nowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, to promote improved marksmanship, and to foster sportsmanship.  Applicants for membership: The applicant can NOT be a convicted felon. The applicant must be a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). (Click here Apply to NRA) Application for membership shall be made in writing, signed by the applicant, on a form prescribed by the executive committee. The applicant must be endorsed and recommended in writing signed by a member of the club in good standing who vouches for the character, reputation, and sportsmanship of the applicant. The applicant must submit the initiation fee, proof of current NRA membership, and dues with the application for membership. The application should be handed or mailed to the club Secretary at the club's PO Box: Scotts Valley Sportsmen's Club, PO Box 66132, Scotts Valley, CA 95067-6132  Applicants must subscribe to the following pledge: I certify that all the information provided in my membership application is correct, that I am a citizen or lawful resident of the United States Of America and of good repute, that I am not a member of any organization or group having as its purpose or one of its purposes to overthrow by force and violence the government of the United States, or any of its political subdivisions. I further certify that I am not legally prohibited by statute, order of court or otherwise, from possessing, acquiring or using firearms or ammunition. And I pledge that I will fulfill the obligations of good sportsmanship and good citizenship, and I will support and defend the Scotts Valley Sportsmen’s Club and work to attain its Objects.  Click here to download an application in pdf format.
